A Uintah High School softball player was selected to fool around on an all-star softball group in a college chain contest in New York in early August, and came home wanting to give back to girls there.
Sammie Jackson, a comparison at Uintah, was selected by Triple Crown Sports to go to New York and fool around in a tournament, hold in Central Park, with girls from all over the U.S. and Canada.
Her group mislaid usually a diversion during the tournament.
While there she was able to learn girls from Harlem how to fool around softball in the Harlem RBI Clinic.
Jackson beheld that many of the girls ages 10-14 didn?t own a softball glove, round or bat. She gave a few of her softballs that she brought with her to them, and they had her pointer them.
Jackson has orderly a service plan to give more softball equipment to the girls. She is seeking for donations to Harlem from any person with out-grown or new softball equipment.
