Can I pass the real estate salesperson license exam ... - Going Green

I'm on a waiting list for green card number to become available. it can take a while and I don't want to lose my time.
So can I enroll for correspondence courses to become a real estate agent/salesperson? can I then pass the license exam and will it be valid once I'll have my green card?
I know I may not drive, not work, not go to school, but can I at least do that?

If you are staying in US out of status until your immigrant visa becomes available, your green card application will be denied due to long length of out of status. you must maintain other types of valid visa status while you are waiting for green card.

Sure you can.

yes if you are legally in the US with a visa

if you are not here legally ,,,you will never get a green card
